It was at the Global Health for Hospitalists workshop. Objectives were to gain a better understanding of common ethical challenges encountered when working in resource-limited settings; to gain a better understanding of current clinical practice and challenges for hospitalists engaged in global health work; and to discuss opportunities for hospitalists interested in global health.
Questions we work with the participants:
1. How do we demonstrate the benefits of hospitalists to hospitals and other physicians?
2. How do we get physicians to recognize hospital medicine as a sustainable, long-term career?
3. How do we develop young, hospitalist leaders?
4.How can we improve the continuity of care amongst hospitalists?
Tell us what you think about some thought-provoking questions.
